You didn’t end up here because you’re bad at leadership. You ended up here because you’re good at it.
Being reliable, responsive, and capable has always been rewarded. So you say yes. You step in. You keep things moving.
Over time, that turns into a loop where more and more lands on you, and stepping back starts to feel risky.
This is the Chief Everything Officer loop. And once you see it, you can change it.

What this work makes possible
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
My days used to be consumed by a constant, heavy mental load. I was stuck in the weeds, pulled into every decision, every fire, every little detail. I had no time or energy, not for strategic thinking, my family, and definitely not for myself. By the end of the day, I had nothing left to give. I felt a quiet pressure to stay closely involved in everything and to keep proving my value, which made it harder to step back, think strategically, and lead at the level I knew I was capable of.
Alli asked the hard questions, the ones that made me stop and reconsider the habits and patterns that were keeping me stuck. I learned to trust my team more fully, let go of control, and move beyond the belief that effectiveness meant doing it all myself and being constantly plugged in.
I've been promoted to Senior Director, got 4 additional team members, and an additional $2M program. More importantly, my team’s performance has accelerated. They're stepping into greater ownership, driving results, and exceeding expectations.
My leadership team is even telling me that I'm the right person to drive key programs forward and that my approach is helping create a more collaborative, high-performing culture. Aside from work, I’ve gotten hours back in my week and, even more importantly, the energy to do the things I love. I finally have time: time to think, to breathe, to be present with my family. Time for me, something I felt I hadn’t had in a long time.
What I’ve learned from Alli has truly been the greatest gift I’ve given myself. I’ve been able to quickly integrate her coaching into how I lead, how I prioritize, and how I show up every day, and the shifts have been both immediate and lasting. She is the best person to have in your corner!

For a long time, everything felt urgent, especially around major events. I felt an unspoken responsibility to always be available, always plugged in, and always holding things together. I cared deeply about the work and the people, but carrying that level of responsibility made it hard to step back and lead in a way that felt sustainable.
Working with Alli helped me recognize where I was taking on too much and where I could trust my team more fully. I learned that just because I can doesn’t mean I should. I stopped doing work for people that they could and should do themselves, and focused instead on supporting them to own their roles. I let go of the belief that being closely involved in everything was the only way things would go well, and I started leading in a way that gave others real ownership. I also made space for more laughter and ease in my day, which changed how the work feels for both me and my team.
I added a new direct report, promoted a teammate, and stepped into broader fundraising leadership. I led our largest fundraising event of the year, and we achieved a 14% year over year increase. I was also invited to serve on a panel as a nonprofit leader, which reflected growing trust in my voice and leadership.
In the week leading up to our annual gala, I was able to take a full day out of the office and attend a community event without worrying that things would fall apart. That would not have been possible before.
What’s changed most is how this all feels. I’m showing up calmer, more focused, and with a lighter presence. Alli’s coaching helped me build a leadership style that feels steady and sustainable, and one that allows both me and my team to do our best work.

Before working with Alli, I felt stuck in constant reactivity: back-to-back meetings, too many ideas with no clear strategy, and no time to think. I was trying to prove myself in a role I already had, saying yes to everything, and doing too much of my team’s work because it felt easier than slowing down to delegate and “I could do it faster.” It was exhausting, and I knew something had to shift if I wanted to grow.
Now? I’ve been promoted with a 29% raise, my ideas are getting greenlit, and my team is stepping up in ways I used to think I had to control.
Attendance at our biggest events is up 77%, and we’re closing out days with zero customer service backlog, which felt impossible just months ago.
Even more important: I feel different. Calmer. More grounded. When someone’s out, I’m no longer panicking or jumping in to fix it all. I trust my team. I trust myself. And I’m proud of them and the culture we’re building.
Joining Alli’s program gave me space to think differently about leadership: what I want it to look like, how I show up, and what I no longer need to carry alone. It also gave me the space and accountability to practice it in real time. I didn’t just get better results. I feel like the leader I wanted to be.

I used to get stuck in idea paralysis, overthinking, refining, and delaying action while juggling competing priorities as a VP and working mom.
Through The Elevate Lab, I made real, measurable progress. I started wrapping my VP work by 9:30 a.m., created space for strategic thinking, and finally launched the newsletter I’d been dreaming about for years. The structure, accountability, and guidance helped me focus on what drives impact instead of staying stuck in the weeds.

I used to feel guilty about taking time off & practiced "secret self-care." I also had to catch endless requests from leadership, and could be timid in my approach to shaping conversations with higher-ups.
After working with Alli, I openly model self-care as part of my team culture, triage projects to focus on those that create the most impact, and have stepped into my power & influence, which means I'm confidently shaping conversations with my boss & skip-level.

Alli is an excellent facilitator who asks the kind of questions that stick with you.
Her workshop gave me the space, structure, and permission to both audit and better design my life—and it's had me rethinking what success really means ever since.

From the outside, things looked great.
Inside, I was tired all the time.
Leadership had turned into carrying everything.
I became the Chief Everything Officer, without ever choosing it.
I changed how I led. The work got better, not worse.
Now I help other women do the same.
